Julie Baxendell After many years of painting watercolors, mostly landscapes, Julie decided to take the spontaneous and transparent qualities of that medium and combine them with an emphasis on drawing. Her new work starts with a loose drawing done with conté crayon on canvas, then painted over with transparent acrylic washes.
