Alice was born and reared in upper-East Tennessee. She developed a deep appreciation for the beauty around her and began her artistic endeavors as a small child. After experimenting with many forms of media, watercolors became her love.

Alice is basically self-taught. She has taken a few classes with local artists in Tennessee and Delaware. She also enjoys sharing her watercolor abilities with others and has taught classes in her home and at the Dover Art League.

Alice makes her home in Dover, Delaware with husband, Ray "Kobi" Kobialka. She is the proud mother of two and grandmother of three. She finds great peace and joy in her painting and hopes her works convey these feelings to her viewers.
